Pros: Does everything well
Cons: The older I get the more cush I like; seat bottom could use a tad more

Surf to Summit GTS Elite Kayak Seat A Review

This will be short and to the point. I’ve used Surf-to Summit seats for virtually every kayak expedition I’ve been on. It is the best seat I have ever seen or used, hands down. The Elite is a rung below their top end Expedition model, which I will be testing soon. Seat comfort on a long haul on the water is ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL to a paddler’s well being (the older the paddler, the truer that statement). I like the high support the Elite provides and the yeoman cushion on the bottom. An assortment of different bags are produced to snap onto clips on the rear of the seat. Highly recommended. While it’s a bitch to try and access it from the seat, it’s a great place to stash odds and ends when you get out of the boat. The basic bag with zip is the one I like best.
