Otterbox Armor for iPod Nano 3rd Gen
A ReviewWhile armor of any type (other than elven armor, of course) provides weight or bulkiness as a byproduct, the Otterbox Armor is a slim, well tailored fit. Slip in your Nano, connect to audio pin, shut latch, bingo. Latches, ports and clips all work smoothly.
It reminds me of an airlock. We’re talking totally safe from all but loss! And the magic of touch control is still fully operational with Otterbox’s patented Click Wheel membrane that allows use of the dial on the front of the Nano. A secure and easy to use belt clip has the versatility to combine with an armband (sold separately) for jogging. The clip is designed to mount the Nano upside down, conceivably for easier viewing while on a belt, but I wear mine high on a shoulder strap and find it awkward. Very small potatoes though.
Overall, this baby is about the slimmest piece of protection I have seen to date. Highly recommended for all edgey activities. While it is waterproof to 1 meter it does not float.
Otterbox is an environmentally supportive company.MSRP: $39.95
